The Role of Sebrae in Accessing Financial Services

As Sebrae is not no bank and borrow resources, its activities focused on creating an appropriate structure of care to its customers.

Access to financial services, especially credit, is certainly one of the main propellers of the economy of countries and their companies, directly contributing to their growth and social development.

Polls indicate that at some point end up requiring the business resources of others. However, the lack of credit is still a strong barrier to the establishment and development of small business in Brazil.

In this scenario the Sebrae assumes the role of facilitating access to financial services for micro and small enterprises and entrepreneurs and to seek ways to reduce the cost of loans.

As Sebrae is not no bank and borrow resources, its activities focused on creating an appropriate structure of care to its customers, either by means of information and guidance provided, or through links with financial institutions and with public and private bodies supervision and control so as to facilitate the reduction of barriers faced by entrepreneurs in search for financial resources, or awareness that these loans are not necessarily the solution to their financial problems.
